I think society does tend to overlook the importance of a healthy environment a lot in the rising carbon emission rates from our country and an underwhelming amount of education on the state of the environment among citizens.

I think we often forget the source of monetary value comes from natural resources and labor. Also the fact almost all life shares a common ancestor and how our health is directly affected by the environment
