Since the political establishment is mostly made up of the elite, or those benefitted by the elite, I believe that the political establishment has its own best interests at heart and not those of the public, which includes myself.

Left wing populism is something that I agree with because I feel that the people who truly run this country are not the white collar workers or the CEO's but rather the small people who have tried to make a big impact by doing things for their communities.
